أصيب بحسرة لأن السلطات الجديدة لم توله اهتماما كغيره من المعارضين أو السجناء السياسيين أو المهجرين ،
ولم يفلح بعد سنوات من خروجه من مخبئه في الحصول على وظيفة، بينما لا تعترف الحكومة به سجينا سياسيا، ولم يحصل على أي تعويض يساعده وعائلته على كسب العيش ،
وهذا المواطن هو خير دليل على ظلم نظام صدام حسين وأيضا خير دليل على ظلم النظام الحالي .
